From your initial enquiry, one of our designers would arrange to meet you on site, at a mutually convenient time, to discuss all your requirements, this would include all furniture and any domestic appliances you may require. Measurements would then be taken of all rooms concerned and, from this, a pencil plan would be provided for viewing. At this stage amendments can easily be made and, only when you are completely satisfied with the proposed design, would the plan and elevation drawings be put to ink as a final copy.
Once the plan has been agreed, construction of units, doors, materials and required finish are refined. This can range from our standard products to our totally hand-made range. You have complete choice of all materials, as we are able to produce standard and custom furniture to order, from Melamine doors to Solid Oaks to MDF unique hand-made and hand painted. Worktops can range from stainless steel, Corian, Granite, wood or traditional Formica. We are able to supply most makes and models of built-in appliances, for example AEG, Zanussi, Bosch, and Neff, all at competitive prices.
Planning your kitchen to the last detail with our experienced designer will help you decide on those little details that make all the difference to day-today life and to the use of space. A drawer front can reveal an ironing board, a breakfast bar or an extra work surface.
Radiators can take up a lot of kitchen space. We can install an under-plinth heater connected to your existing central-heating system - thus allowing you to make use of valuable wall space. Corner cupboards become esily accessible with rail mounted shelving which pulls out to make tucked away shelves easily accessible. There is a system and a solution to all foreseeable problems. Our planners and designers bring years of experience to applying these solutions to your project.
We are also able to quote for floor and wall tiling, electrical, plumbing and gas work, all as part of our full and comprehensive installation service, if so required.
Prior to commencement of manufacture and ordering of components, a site survey would normally be carried out by one of the Furnfix Directors, this is our means of double checking the plans in order to achieve a 'no hitch' installation. Last minute changes or additional works can be incorporated at this stage without affecting fitting dates.
