Installation of furniture, be it kitchen, bedroom or bathroom, usually involves taking out existing furniture first, this is also undertaken by Furnfix and is usually included in the quotation. Water and electrics are quickly isolated by means of isolation valves and fittings, in order that the rest of the property can function normally. Our teams of installers, including a plumber or electrician will normally fit a basic kitchen within 1 week, a little extra if tiling or electrical works are involved, of course this all depends on the type and size of kitchen, some hand-made kitchens can take 1-2 weeks. Our fitters are trained to work quickly and efficiently and they will always tidy up before departure at the end of each day. We are aware that most of our clients normally have busy time-tables and we do our best to meet their calendar requirements, given enough lead time. Upon completion of any installation our installers would ask the client to view all their work, including all electrical points and isolation switches, checking all doors, mitre joints etc., only when totally satisfied would we ask that our Customer Satisfaction Form be signed. We also welcome any comments, be it praise or criticism, in order to maintain our high standards. Hand-made (painted only) kitchens are usually fitted in a primed paint finish only. Our painter would discuss with you your professional requirement. The final paint finish would then be carried out on site. Commissions for work outside Devon can be quoted for on either a 'supply only' basis, or supply and fitting, however, we do not undertake electrical or plumbing works in this instance but would supply a copy of the plan together with a 'red- line' drawing for your own plumber or electrician to prepare and complete any works involved, prior to installation.
